The Armaguerra Model 39 was Italy's official semi-automatic rifle going into WWII; however, it was adopted so late that when the war started, all production was prioritized on the Carcano rifle. Only a small batch of rifles were made, both in 6.5x52mm Carcano and the newer 7.35x51mm cartridge that Italy was trying to switch over to.
If you're looking for the charging handle, it's the front sling swivel under the barrel.
